General Booking and Availability
How do I book an appointment with you?
You can book a mobile appointment through text or by email only.
Booking an in-salon appointment can be done through the Logan 14 Salon Website or by phone.
What is your availability like for in-salon services? Also, what about mobile?
I have weekday and weekend availability along with evening appointments- perfect for after-work services.
For mobile services, I have weekday and weekend availability. For events book in advance.
How far in advance should I book my appointment?
For a mobile styling and in-salon services you can book same day appointments.
For bridal or event bookings it’s best to book at least 4 weeks in advance to secure your preferred time. The earlier the better. Special availability for Sunday event bookings may be made in a week’s notice at the latest.
Do you offer consultations before booking?
Yes! I offer free consultations for mobile event and special styling to discuss your needs. This ensures we're aligned on your desired look and that I can meet your expectations."
Consultations for in-salon bookings are built into the appointments. However, if you are still unsure what to book for feel free to contact me for any questions.
Mobile Services
What areas do you serve for mobile hair services?
I serve the greater DC area, including Arlington, Alexandria, Bethesda, Silver Spring, and other surrounding areas. I am willing to travel further for an additional travel fee. Contact me for more details if your location is outside of my usual service area.
Do you charge a travel fee for mobile services?
Yes, there is a travel fee based on the distance from my location to yours. This will apply to services outside of my service area. This will be calculated at the time of booking and included in the total cost.
What do I need to provide for a mobile service?
For mobile appointments, I will bring all necessary tools and products. Please ensure that there is enough space and seating for the service, preferably near a table for set up, access to power outlets and sufficient lighting.
In-Salon Services
Where is the salon located?
The salon is located in Logan Circle area NW, DC. Closest to the corner of 14th & N. I’m happy to accommodate your needs in a comfortable, professional setting.
Do I need to make an appointment for in-salon services, or do you accept walk-ins?
I highly recommend booking in advance, especially for popular times or weekend appointments. Walk-ins are welcomed too, however subject to availability.
Can I book a combination of services in one appointment (e.g., cut, color, and blowout)?
Absolutely! I multiple services. You can inquire about those when booking on the salons website or calling in.
Bridal and Event Services
Do you specialize in bridal or event hairstyling?
Yes! I specialize in wedding and event hairstyling, including bridal parties, special events, and photoshoots. I can tailor my services to fit your specific needs and theme.
Can you accommodate large bridal parties or events?
Yes, I can accommodate bridal parties of various sizes. I can bring additional professionals if the group is larger to ensure we stay on schedule. Please reach out for a customized quote.
Do you offer trial runs for bridal hairstyling?
Yes, I recommend scheduling a trial run for bridal hairstyling before your wedding day. This ensures that we create the perfect look and gives you peace of mind. Trials are typically booked about 4-6 weeks before the event.
How long before the wedding or event should I book?
It’s best to book as soon as you know your event date, especially for weddings. Many brides book 3-12 months in advance, but I can accommodate last-minute requests depending on my availability.
What is the minimum booking time for a bridal or event hairstyle?
Bridal and event hairstyles usually require a minimum of 45- 60 mins per person, depending on the style. Please reach out for a personalized estimate.
Do you offer makeup services for weddings or events?
I primarily offer hair services, but I can refer you to trusted makeup artists I work with regularly.
Pricing and Payment
How much do your services cost?
Prices vary depending on the type of service (e.g., in-salon, mobile, bridal). For mobile or bridal services, there may also be a travel fee. Please contact me for a personalized quote.
Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes, I require a deposit to secure your mobile appointment for my luxury extension services, bridal and event bookings (via Zelle). The deposit is deducted from the total cost of your service. No deposit required for regular mobile styling. See cancellation policy below.
No deposit required for in-salon services (with exception of luxury extension services). Salon’s cancellation policy will apply.
What forms of payment do you accept?
For mobile services I accept Cash & Zelle. Payment is due upon completion of the service or, for large events, based on the terms of our contract.
Are gratuities included in the price of the service?
Gratuities are not included in the price of the service. Tips are appreciated and can be given in cash.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
What is your cancellation policy?
For mobile services I require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a cancellation fee (50%). For bridal and event services, a percentage of total cost fee may apply if the booking is canceled within time frame of the event as contracted.
Can I reschedule my appointment if something comes up?
Yes, rescheduling is always possible. As long as you give notice 48 hrs. prior, you will not be charged the 50% fee. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss available options.
